another mate gone
I dont know if you knew Ray Heads raymond but he has also passed away mind he was 70 but you might of know his family jim heads or tommy there was also Gordon savage,harry savage and them the sister married bonnie young.Yes they were from my neck of the woods and all good lads.Ray used to go all over on his bike with the sidecar on.I was talking to him in the town not to long ago it goes to show you dont know whats around the corner.all the seaham lot are going fast now.

I never knew him James ... but sorry to hear another one of you friends has passed over. We're a vanishing breed mate and we never saw it coming.

Just a thought Jim. Was he any relation to Richard Heads? Richard I do remember. He was one of the three people at school who was a friend. But strangely I lost contact with him the day I left.

The richard heads that you are thinking off went around with eddy sandcaster they both lived up westlea i used to go to richys house but i havnt seen him either since school infact there are very few people that i have seen from our school.I have seen Deka carr a few times terry penman and terry pemberton,julie smith the rest have either vanished or passed on.

Ray do you remember billy giplin he is in the football photo and was a year above us at joes,well he has passed away.He lost his wife a few year ago.In the photo he is on front row last on right kneeling in front of joe olley.

I remember the name JIm but not the person ... there can't be many left of the class of '62 now can there? Strange thing is ... it seems to be the fitest of us who are going first.
